Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants will:
- be able to describe the meaning of the term “emotions” and “feelings”
- enumerate 14 different emotions
- differentiate between functional and dysfunctional feelings
- understand the three different ways in which emotions impact behavior
- differentiate between primary and secondary emotions
- understand the meaning of the term “belief”, “rational belief” and “irrational belief”
- know techniques called “OATIE-ICD” and “RDAA” to de-intensify dysfunctional emotions.

Duration
The workshop duration is 8 hours divided into 4 online sessions of 2 hours each.

The methodology used includes group activities, individual activities and classroom exercises, apart from slides-based discussion.
